FIRE VICTIM BEGS FOR
HELP
A four year
old Udoka Success from the family of Mr. and Mrs. Okonkwo Udoka in
Ute-Ugboje, Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State, has
appealed to the state government, non-governmental organization
(NGO’S ) and well meaning Nigerians for help.
The little
girl was sleeping together with her siblings, in their room on 3rd of
June, 2012 when fire from a candle light burnt her siblings to death
leaving only her alive with her face and two hands burnt.
According to
Mr. Okonkwo Udoka, father to the survived fire victim, they have been
refered to different hospitals and has sold all he had, including
properties just to get his only surviving child saved, saying “now
her two hands are hanged up and requires the sum of seven hundred and
fifty thousand naira (N750,000) for her to undergo plastic surgery in
NKST rehabilitation hospital, Gboko, Benue State through Hope in God
foundation,” he said.

Mr. Udoka also
called on well meaning individuals, church humanitarian organizations
to come to his aid by helping him raise money for the operation.
Evang James Azubuike, Director, Hope in God Foundation, disclosed
that similar case of fire incident has been treated in NKST
rehabilitation hospital in Gboko, Benue State, noting that, success
requires a plastic surgery which will cost N750,000. Donation can be
