A 54 yrs old man Mr. Josiah Onaro of Ileh village, Umunede has been declared kidnapped by some unidentified gunmen on August 1st 2008 between Eku and Abraka in Delta State. Mr Onaro is a Tanker driver who was said to be on his way home from Warri petroleum depot with a tanker load of petroleum product along with his conductor was flagged down by occupants of an Audi car which had earlier overtaken them. He was asked to show his vehicle particulars. During this time the men brought out their guns and bundled him into the car and sped in the opposite direction while the conductor ran into the bush.
At the time of report, family members have not received any information from the kidnappers.
