COLLEGE PROVOST, COMMENDED

AGBOR (Ika Weekly) – The Provost of College of Education, Agbor, Dr. Emmanuel U. Tibi has been commended for his administrative style, which has led to the overall development of the institution.

 

Making the commendation was the acting Chief Security Officer (CSO) of the college, Mr. John Ozegbe in a chat with Ika Weekly on Thursday in his office. Mr. Ozegbe who was full of praises for the Provost, expressed satisfaction with the way and manner he has been handling the affairs of the institution, and said that the school has witnessed tremendous physical and academic development since he became the provost.

           

On security, Mr. Ozegbe disclosed that there has not been any major security hiccup, adding that the job of the security department has been made easy because of the support of the provost and his management staff that was required to carry out their functions efficiently.

           

He stated that cultism which has been on the increase in other institutions of higher learning has been curbed in the college, adding that there is relative peace in and around the college community.

           

Mr. Ozegbe praised the staff of the security department, while urging them to remain dedicated to their jobs.

           

He advised the students of the college to be serious with their studies, for according to him, that was the only reason their parents and guardians sent them to school.

 

Mr. Ozegbe thanked other Principal Officers such as the deputy provost Dr. Whawo, the registrar, Mr. Andrew Ajabor, amongst others for their commitment to the growth and development of the college.
