Pa Ehiwario, who is the
oldest man in the quarter is a retired teacher. He was the first Councilor in
Ekuku-Agbor, and the first councilor that represented Ika Local Government Area
at the then Bendel
State. He was also
president, Customary Court.
The elder statesman, was
described as very hard working and
diligent in his active days as a teacher and politician. According to one of
his grand-sons, Comrade Celestine Moses Onyibe, his grand father remained a
source of inspiration to all his children and grand children.
Comrade Onyibe, who is the
ex-chairman, Planning Committee/External Affairs of Ika Students nation wide,
noted that the installation of his grand father as Onye-Iche of Ogbe Ikoro
quarters was a welcome development that will promote peace and harmony in the
community. He therefore called on indigenes of the community to support the
eldest man in the discharge of his functions.
