A suspected
fraudster, otherwise known as “419” who gave his name as Goodluck Okoh was
beaten to a pulp by the mobile police men and some students of College of
Education, Agbor at the school entrance gate on 17th November, 2011
following his (Goodluck) unscrupulous attempt to dupe a female student of the
institution.

The suspected
fraudster was apprehended by the mobile police men when he (Goodluck) was
trying to persuade a female student, (name withheld) to enter a bike with the
intention of carrying her to their den where she would have been duped.

The dubious young
man who disclosed that he is from Ime-Obi, in Ika South Local Government Area
of Delta State refuted the allegation levelled against him, stating that he had
no business with the girl. He however maintained that he was not trying to dupe
the girl, contrary to her statement.

A male student who was a victim of 419, narrated
that the fraudster and his gang recently took his girlfriend to one of the
communities in Urhobo land where she was duped of a whopping some of money and
harassed sexually.
