Members of the
Anioma Youth Congress (AYC) have on Wednesday, 8th of May, 2013 honoured Dr
Felix Morka, as a Grand Icon of Development. The event took place at Winners
Lodge Hotel, along Lagos Asaba Road, Agbor, Delta State.
In an address presented by
Comrade Kenneth Ehiogwu, President of the Association,he disclosed that the
choice of Dr. Felix Morka as recipient of the Award was based on his
commitments and selfless services
In a brief speech presented by
Mr. Peter Isedeh, chairman of the New Dawn Movement and a representative of
the awardee, he admonished all members of the Congress to
always remain committed and be law
abiding.
Chartting with the Ika Weekly
correspondent shortly after the ceremony, Mr. Edwin Okoh, secretary to the New Dawn Movement, said “Today I am excited, Dr. Felix Morka is a man that deserves an
award. I promised to work with him relentlessly and to remain a good secretary
to him.” In addition, Comrade Williams Ogor, secretary to (A.Y.C) thanked all
those who grace the occasion, and expressed
gratitude to God Almighty who made the award ceremony a huge success.
The ceremony witnessed the
presence of some members of the Congress and the New Dawn Movement.
High Points of the ceremony were
the presentation of the award to Edwin Okoh on behalf of Dr. Felix Morka,
taking of group photograph, and the entertainment of guests.
