BOJI-BOJI OWA (Ika Weekly) – The sterling and unique administrative style of Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, governor of Delta State, has been praised; even as he was said to be a man with an abiding vision to transform Delta State.
Giving the commendation on Wednesday at his residence in Boji-Boji, Owa was Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG) Donald Ugbaja (Rtd). He said that the governor’s unique style of governance has really impressed him.
The retired police top brass noted that Dr. Uduaghan is a man with a human face; emphasizing that with his high brilliance, coupled with his legendary humility, he will go a long way in moving the state to a higher level of development.
DIG Ugbaja said he believes with all conviction that the governor, with his style of governance will transform Delta State for the better, saying that he had succeeded in changing the face of governance in the state.
The retired police officer turned politician remarked that at the start of the present dispensation, there were a lot of misgivings and doubts on the ability of Dr. Uduaghan to perform; but that he was happy that the young man has proved critics wrong. He stated that the governor has achieved beyond his expectation; noting that before his 100 days in office, he had clocked 200 days. He therefore wished him God’s divine wisdom and promised to extend his unalloyed support to his administration and his uncanny zeal to enhance the infrastructural and human capital development of Delta State.
