IKA WEEKLY – The member representing Ika South constituency at Delta State House of Assembly Asaba, Hon. Barr. Martins Okonta will be the Chairman of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church Ewuru Harvest thanksgiving and Bazaar slated for Sunday, 18th November2007.
A retired Deputy-Group Managing Director of NNPC, Mr. Daniel Usifoh and Rear Admiral Peter Isimoya Eluma (Rtd) are to function as special Guest of honour and father of the day respectively.
A statement signed by the Chairman, Harvest Committee Mr. Charles Abudah and the Secretary Mr. J.E. Olukwu said the occasion will kick off with the celebration of Holy Mass by the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Sylvester Modebei and his Assistant Rev. Fr. Peter Okafor at 9. 00am while Bazaar sales starts immediately after the mass.
The statement requested all sons and daughters of Ewuru, friends and well-wishers to be part of the celebration to give thanks to God for all His gift of nature and mercies on His people.
