It’s our turn to produce governor in 2015 – Delta North leaders

AGBOR – LEADERS of Delta
North Senatorial District in Delta State, weekend, in Agbor, said it was theei
turn to produce the next governor of the state at the expiration of the tenure
of the current governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan in 2015.

The leaders, under the
auspices of the Anioma Welfare Initiative for Delta North – 2015, rose from a
meeting in Agbor, with a call on governorship aspirants from the district, who
are already campaigning or building structures for their campaigns to dismantle
them immediately and key into the collective Anioma project, as what would
speak for them when the time comes would be their achievements in their current
assignments.

Among the leaders at the
meeting were the coordinator and veteran politician, Elder John Ehikwe; former
commissioner in the defunct Bendel State and retired judge, Justice S.
Ehiwario; former member of the House of Representatives, Mrs Doris Uboh; a
former deputy vice chancellor, Prof. P. Egbon; renowned educationist, Dr.
Ikechukwu Enwemnwa; Prof  Godwin Nduka, Venerable Sunday Omodiahi, and a
host of others.

Frank Mordi, Dr. Ronald Eyime, Prof B. Ejechi and a host of others.
Addressing newsmen, Elder Ehikwe said a committee of committed Anioma leaders
would be set up to reconcile perceived differences among their sons and
daughters in the political class to ensure that the existing understanding and
cooperation on power shift among the senatorial districts in the state was
actualized with Anioma indigene occupying Government House, Asaba in 2015.
