Abductors of the judge had
jolted security operatives and the family of the judge, as they kept mute and
never established any contact until after about five days of holding their
victim. The kidnappers later asked for N40 million ransom.

Justice Okoh was the
immediate past Director of Public Prosecution, DPP. He was sworn in as a judge
in June this year and kidnapped on August 6, while on his way to work in Warri.
