DARE-DEVIL ARMED ROBBER (BOBO) GUNNED DOWN

A dare-devil armed robbery suspect who goes by the
name “Bobo”, a native of Owanta, was on Tuesday, October 9th, 2012, short dead
by the team of soldiers deployed to Ika nation. The suspected armed robber
before his death was nursing a bullet wound in his right leg.

According to Captain M. Ibrahim, the suspect was in
the list of armed robbers terrorizing Agbor, Owa and the entire Ika land. He
had since been declared wanted by the police. Ibrahim  said, he were informed of Bobo’s presence in
town through a phone call.

Captain Ibrahim said that immediately they received
the information, he and his team went into action, and as they got to Bobo’s
house, he locked had himself up in a room, smoking Indian hem, stating that
they forced the door to the room open as Bobo refused to let them in.

He disclosed that when they gains entrance to the room
a double barrel gun and Indian hemp were seen in Bobo’s room. “A bullet wound
was visible on his right leg, He confessed of his involvements in criminal
activities in the area.”

Captain Ibrahim called on youths in Ika land to engage
themselves in meaningful things rather than indulging in crime.

“I and my team are ever ready to bring all armed
robbers and all those going against the law to book, saying sincerely no one
found guilty will be spared”, he concluded.

Major A.C Ilemadim, commander, Joint Patrol Team in
Delta State who was around when Bobo was killed commended the Captain Ibrahim
led team for a job well done. According to him, one after the other, all armed
robbers will be killed.

Major Ilemadim said that, soldiers in Delta State are
doing their best to see that crime rate in the state is reduced, saying that
the Joint Patrol Team was formed to help curb crime, ranging from illegal oil
bunkry, kidnapping, armed robbery and other crime related activities.

He assured that they will not relent until there is
safety of lives and properties.
