I PROMISE TO OFFER QUALITY LEADERSHIP:–NAIS PRESIDENT

 

The recently elected National President
of National Association of Ika Students (NAIS), Greg Ifeanyi Oseh has promised
to represent Ika students effectively, improve Ika cultural heritage and fight
for DESOPADEC bursary for all Ika students. He made this declaration while
speaking with newsmen, immediately after he was declared winner of NAIS
election conducted at Ika National Hall, Agbor, on Saturday, 9th February,
2013.

According to him “I promise to represent
Ika students both at home and in diaspora effectively, improve our cultural
heritage and fight for DESOPADEC bursary for all Ika students. I promise to
carry everybody along and make sure we live in peace and unity.”        

The NAIS president, who is a student of
Delta State University, Agbor Campus, encouraged all Ika students to be hard
working in their various academic pursuit and strive for excellence in whatever
they are involved in. He charged them to be good ambassadors of  Nigeria and shun all forms of violence that
will threaten the peace and tranquility of the country.

He charged his opponents who lost in the
election to accept their loss in good faith, urging them to support him in his
administration, noting “I promise to work with all those who lost during the
election. I need their assistance, co-operation and advice, for me to pilot the
affairs of the Association to a greater height.”
