. Rapheal Iyere, said that reason for the movie to save Owa culture from extinction since some
families are reluctant to teach their children at home.
Mr.
Iyere urged the people of Owa Alero to always remember Chief Engr. Nkenchor
Okwuokenye, the Ineh of Owa kingdom in prayer for he is the one who has been
sponsoring them saying that other Owa sons should emulate him. Chief Nkenchor
Okwuokenye had previously noted that culture is significant in the life of
people who have the less understanding of their tradition.
He
maintained that he is solidly behind OFDAC. Some of those who spoke to Ika
Weekly stated that Owa-Alero people are proud of the effort that is being made
by OFDAC to awaken their cultural heritage.
