BLACK DAY IN OWA-ALERO; AS MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT CLAIMED 3 LIVES

 

It was a horrific scene to behold on
Friday, 26th April, 2013 at Idumu Ugbala quarters, Owa-Alero, Ika North Local
government Area of Delta State, as two motorcycles popularly called Okada had a
head on collision, leaving one person burnt to death on the spot. The others
were rushed to the hospital before he gave up the ghost.

                Speaking
to Ika Weekly, an eye witness Mr. Okubor Monday said that the okada man who was
heading to Boji Boji, Owa and was carrying a 
gallon of petrol on a high speed collided with another coming Okada from
Owa-Ekei. Immediately the two bikes collided there was a spark which quickly
burst into flame, burning one of the victims beyond recognition while the
others died at the hospital.

                At
the time Ika Weekly got to the scene of the accident large number of
symphatizers who gathered to have a glimpse of the accident cautioned  road users to be careful the cause of the
accident.
