The Obi of Owa
kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Emmanuel Efeizomor II, JP, OON, has lauded the
actions of the Executive Director, Social and Economic Rights Action Centre
(SERAC), Dr. Felix Morka, describing him as a great Nigerian whose advocacy
programmes have educated many Nigerians on their rights and obligations as good
citizens.

Obi Efeizomor
who was speaking during a one day seminar tagged, “The Good Citizens” in his
royal palace at Owa-Oyibu, Ika North East Local Government Area, said that as
good citizens, Nigerians ought not to keep quiet when things are not right,
stressing that good citizens, always ensure that the right things are
done.  He commended the conveners of New
Dawn Movement, even as he called on the people to support the vision of the non-governmental
organization which according to him is like a mustard seed that will soon
become a big tree.

                While declaring his resolve to
be a member of New Dawn, the revered monarch enjoined Nigerians to know their
rights and obligations as citizens of Nigeria and do everything possible to
stop whatever they know will not help the country move forward. He advised
Felix Morka not to relent in his enlightenment programmes as Nigeria is in dire
need of people who will take it to a golden height.
