OGBEMUDEIN MIXED SECONDARY SCHOOL BIDS FAREWELL TO OUTGOING STUDENTS

 

Students,
teachers and other staff members of Ogbemudein Mixed Secondary School Agbor, in
Ika South Local Government Area were all in a joyful mood on the 24th, May 2013
when they organized send off party for SS-3 students.

                The party which was held at the
sports ground of the school had in attendance people from different works of
life.

                In his speech the chairman of
the occasion, Elder Patrick Inyere, 
commend the school Principal, Rev. Enuji Paul and the entire staff for
their efforts in inculcating knowledge to the students, not withstanding the short
time the principal has been in the school.

                Elder Inyere, who is also the
chairman of ParentsTeachers Association (P.T.A) 
of the school added that his members wished the outgoing student
farewell.

                The vice chairman of the
occasion Mr. Okocha Jerome, while applauding the principal told the outgoing
students that education helps individuals to become useful in the society. He
said that every child have a right to education, He urged the students not to
stop they  educational pursuit half way
adding that without education, the individual or the society will fail.

                He urged parents and invited
guests to have positive attitude towards education stressing that it is capable
of taking any individual to the top, and the benefit of education cannot be
over- emphasized.

                Mr. Jerome expressed
appreciation to the school management for organizing a well- packaged send off
party.

                The school principal, Rev. Enuji
Paul in his address, thanked all those who joined the school in the
celebration. He enjoined the outgoing students not to sing praises yet, saying
that the journey of their education has just began.      

Highpoints of
the party was the presentation of gifts to the outgoing students, Dance by
different groups, drama, jokes and many more.
