Umunede Political Leaders Forum, a
political association in the Peoples
Democratic Party (PDP), in ward eleven, Umunede
which stands to steer the ship of the ruling party in the area has been
commended for exemplary leadership.
The
commendation came from a reputable businessman Mr. Nko Omiefe while hosting the
group on the 1st of June 2013 at Spanish Hotel, Umunede, in Ika North East
Local Government Area of Delta State.
Mr.
Omeife disclosed that he has been informed of the good work the group is doing
and its plan to move Umunede forward politically.
According
to him, the development of Umunede is our collective responsibility. He
therefore, called on all Umunede sons and daughters both at home and in
diaspora to rally round the political group
He
however pledged his full support for the group, encouraging them not to give
up, saying the way to success is always very tough.”
Responding,
the chairman of the forum, Chief Frank Igwebuike, the Odabemeze of Umunede, and
his deputy, Hon. Sir Sunday Ihieme, thanked Mr.
Omeife for his gesture and also for identifying with the forum.
