MEMBERS OF LAND COMMITTEE OF OWA EKEI COMMUNITY CONSTITUTED

                Addressing
the gathering during the meeting, the Okpara-in council represented by the  Okpara of the town, Elder Ajude Nwajei,
the  Ihaza of Owa kingdom, Chief Promise
Ehiobu, the secretary Mr. Friday Iraiwu and Elder Ikeke Omuri, said that the
present constituted committee which would be in office from June 2013 to June
2017, was constituted following the customary 
laws and tradition of the community, saying that it is the traditional;
and customary right of the elders in council of the community, in line with Owa
custom and tradition to appoint the members of land committee and the youths
executive.

                The
constituted land committee members include Ikeke Omuri, chairman
(Okpara-group), Mr. Ephraim Agede (vice chairman) Friday Iraiwu (secretary),
Apostle Ezekiel Ehiobu, Vincent Melekwe,, Mr. Ignatius Asiwe, Chief Christopher
Uwakwe, Mr. Raphael Elume, Mr. Solomon Ekamagule, Mr. Onyeka Iraiwu, Mr. Godwin
Elujekor and Venerable Palmer Melekwe members.

                Others
are Mr. Godwin Agidi, Hon. Destiny Ehikwe, Mr. Omikwe Ebozim, Mr. Lazarus
Echenim, Mr. Augustine Okubor, Mr. Vincent Morka, Mr. Onyisi Nwajei, Mr. Samuel
Ojerahi, Mr. Joseph Emedem, Mr. Gilbert Onyenugu and Mr. Patrick Ogbomah
members.

                The
rest are Mr. Joseph Aigbe, Mr. Emeke Monye, Mr. Jacob Owabor, Deacon Eboigbe,
Mr. Aso Onyebigwn, Chief Friday Nkata and Mr. Daniel Chukwuedo also members.

                Speaking
to newsmen immediately after the meeting, the Okpara in council Elder  Ajude, stated that  all land 
transactions should hence forth be through the named committee members
whom he said, have express mandate to act on behalf of the community, warning
that no land transaction should be entered into with any other person other
than the duly appointed (30) members adding that any transaction outside the
knowledge and approval of the committee, would be rendered null and void.
