IKA BUSINESS CLIMATE COMMENDED

AGBOR (Ika Weekly) – An Agbor based businessman an indigene of Oyi, in Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State, Mr. Batholomen Nwasa, has praised the favourable business climate in Ika land.

                            

Mr. Nwasa who disclosed that he was the first to start selling G.S.M phone accessories and the repair of GSM phones in Agbor, even before the coming of MTN, says that he is enjoying his stay in Ika land. He stated that he has trained a lot of persons in the repairs of GSM phones; stressing that today, majority of them are doing well and playing pivotal roles in their various families.

                            

He revealed that he made good money from the repairs of GSM phones before veering into the selling of electrical materials and fairly used electrical appliances. He added that he has never regretted his decision to relocate from Benin-City to Agbor. He said he was willing to take more apprentice, not minding whether they have money or not to engage with him, reiterating that his primary interest is to se young men and women gainfully engaged in something profitable.

                            

Mr. Nwasa however stressed that doing business requires substantial amount of money, adding that those interested in doing business can still start whatever amount of money they have.

                            

He praised his fellow Ibo brothers and sisters for their hard work and peacesful co-existence with their host, and admonished them not to be involved in anything that could strain their relationship with Ika indigenes. He also commended the people of Ika nation for their hospitality and favourable disposition to non-indigenes residing in their area.

                            

Mr. Nwasa called on Ika youths to do things that would guarantee a pleasant and rewarding future for them; adding that laziness does not pay.
