More commissioners may go this month as
there are strong indications that the Delta State governor, Dr. Emmanuel
Uduaghan will any time from now effect a major reshufflement in his cabinet.
Just last week Governor Uduaghan sacked the commissioner of Finance, Bernard
Okumagba, a development many Deltans think will not affect Mr. Okumagba alone.
Meanwhile,
the Secretary to the State Government, Comrade Ovuozourie Macaulay has during a
meeting with the commissioners at Asaba charged them to brace up to the challenge
as the reshuffling was not yet over, adding that the commissioners as well as
other political appointees in the state should be grateful to the governor for
the opportunity to serve the state.
