EDITH OKOH BAGS AWARD OF EXCELLENCE

 

 

Lady Edith E.
Okoh (JP) Nnediora Nma, a visionary woman, was on 12th of July, 2013 at
Nigerian National Merit Award House, Maitana, Abuja bagged an award of a woman of
Excellence by The Platinum Standard (P.S) Publication Limited (Publishers
of  Supreme Magazine) for her immense
contributions to human lives.

                Speaking during the meeting, Her
Excellency Dame (Dr.) Patience Goodluck Jonathan, first lady, Federal Republic
of Nigeria, stated that lady Okoh was recognized and honoured due to her
generosity and contributions towards the 
growth of many Nigerian churches and toward to lives of the orphans and
the less privilege people.

                Speaking also, Hajia Zainab
Maina Minister for Women Affairs and Social Development, Republic of Nigeria,
noted that the recognition award was to encourage her and other women in the
country always contribute their  efforts
towards the National Development.

                Lady Okoh, was honoured with the
follow awards since 2004, Ezinne (Good Mother), by St. James Anglican Church,
Agbor in 2005; Mother of the year, by Christ Our Saviour Anglican Church, Agbor
in 2012. Also, platinum standard is pleased to honour her with the 2nd woman of
excellence merit award, 2013 in he recognition of her immense unalloyed and
indelible contribution to charity work, especially caring for the widows.

                Chatting with newsmen at her
Boji-Boji residence, Lady Okoh expressed gratitude to all those who supported and
came to honour her with such award. She prayed to God to continue to bless them
abundantly. Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, the Minister of Finance and co-ordinating
minister of the economy, and social development was also there to grace the
occasion.
