I WAS NOT PAID N10M TO WITHRAW PETITION AGAINST PRINCESS OKUNONKE TO EFCC–Barr. Ifeanyi Agholor

The Human Right
Restoration Movement (HRRM) yesterday met at its headquarters located at No.
171 Old Lagos Asaba road, Boji-Boji, Owa, Delta State, to review its activities
with respect to Ika North-east and Ika South local government councils. During
the review, attention of the national chairman, Comrade Barrister Ifeanyi
Agholor was drawn to a petition written and signed by one Mr. Gregory Nwajei
EFCC  quarters.

            The attention has further been
withdrawn to some mischief makers who have gone to the current management of
the council and political leaders to say that Barrister Agholor and Hon. Friday
Okoh, the PDP youth leader, Ika Northeast local government council asked the
council chairman, Princess Ijenwa Okunonke to pay the some of 10 million naira
which will enable them to withdraw the petition written to EFCC, Port-Harcourt,
River State. In the first instance, “I Comrade Ifeanyi Williams Agholor, on
behalf of my movement did not write any petition against the Ika Northeast
local government council.  All the
insinuation that the petition was authored by me is false and malicious.”
Barrister Agholor stated.

            Speaking further Barr. Agholor
stated that it was confirmed that those mischief makers, were at it when the
movement complained against late Smart Buzugbe to EFCC, Lagos where they
(mischief makers) collected 10 million naira from late Buzugbe that they want
to settle the matter and also forced him to borrow the money from a money
lender “this attitude is bad. He noted.

To find out the real fact, the
movement is using the opportunity to charge everybody to go and look for those
persons who used the name of their national chairman, Com. Barrister Agholor to
dupe money from the local government council. It was noted that Senator Okowa,
Hon O.B. Nmonye, Barrister Ojobor and Mrs. Iyasere have been the past local
government chairmen and are still alive and residing within Ika Northeast.

            In addition, Barrister Agholor,
challenged anybody to expose him if any money has been given to him in louse
the course of his struggle. He also used the medium to warn princess Okunonke
to be careful of these mischief makers whose sole aim is to take advantage of
any situation in the local government. He further said that, their demands,
with respect to Sure-P and the statutory allocation by the local government
council is in force. He stressed that if Engr. Andrew Obiazi, the Ika South
local government council is honest to himself
and to his people, he can attest to the fact the he has never met with
him (Barrister Agholor) on one on one neither has he (Barrister Agholor)
authorized anybody to have any discussion with him. The movement concluded that
they have taken firm positions to deal with the said Mr. Gregory O. Nwagie and
his cohorts.
