POLICE DSP MURDERED IN AGBOR

            Tragedy struck in Agbor,
headquarters of  Ika south local
government area of Delta State last week Wednesday night, January 22nd ,
2014  as Deputy Superintendent and head
of the Motor Traffic Division, Agbor police division, Anthony Jeaga, was
murdered in a cold blood.

            News of the death of the police
officer which came as a rude shock sent fears to spines of Agbor residents.

                        He was described by
those who knew him as a refined, trained and seasoned police officer who
discharged his duties diligently.

            His lifeless body was found on a
bush path along Benin/Asaba express way before Ewuru junction, Agbor.

            The late police officer hails from
Otua, in Owan East Local Government Area of Edo State.

            His killers escaped with his silver
coloured Toyota Camry Car, registration number AYB88AA.

            When contacted, the Agbor police
confirmed the report.

Meanwhile, Ika weekly gathered that a
suspect who had earlier uttered unwarranted comments about the DTO before his
death, have been arrested in connection with the incident.

            At the time of filling this report,
the body of the DSP Jeaga has been deposited in one of the Morgue,  in Gabor.
