ANIOMA SECURITY WATCH MEMBERS URGED TO BE VIGILANT

                According
to a release jointly signed by the organizing committee chairman, Mr. Ngozi
Dibie and the secretary, Mr. Dele Friday Moses, the competition which is a
yearly one would enable the youths to showcase their talents that would qualify
them to compete with other international players like John Mikel Obi of Chelsea
Football Club.

                The
competition which has Aliagwai, Ali-Okpu, Alihame, Oki, Agbor-Nta, Idumu-Oza,
Ewuru, Alifekede and Alihagwu as participating communities will be hosted by
Brigadier-General Leo Irabor.

                The
chairman through the release, enjoined the youths in the area to come out
en-masse and participate in the competition.

                The
release also called on well meaning Ihu-Iyase indigenes to emulate General
Irabor by using their position to empower the youths that will enable them to
be relevant in the transformation agenda of President Goodluck Jonathan.

The members of Anioma Security Watch have been
urged to be vigilant. The advise was given by the president of the security
outfit, Comrade Henry by Owamaleaze during their Annual General Meeting held in
Agbor during the week.

                Comrade
Owamaleaze Stressed that the need to be vigilant become. necessary as criminals
are not happy that the security outfit  exists.

                He
encouraged  members to work in synergy
with the police and other security agencies in the locality, adding that it is
not possible to fight crime alone.

                He
however constituted a taskforce committee to be headed by one, Giddy Oligie,
with a charge on the committee members to discipline any erring member.

                He
disclosed that very soon the training of his members will be by the joint Task
Force (JTF)

                Speaking
to newsmen after the meeting, the Chief Protocol officer of the group, Lucky
Unogona, also known as, Walter said that the group is out to fight crime in the
nine local government areas of Delta North Senatorial District. He warned
criminal to relocate from the area.

                The
Ika South co-ordinator of the outfit, Mr. Nwanne Ajari thanked the Agbor
Divisional Police Officer, S.P Albert Dike, for the encouragement he is giving
to the group, just as he promised that himself and his members are not going to
disappoint the people  of the local
government Ajari maintained that the security outfit is also out to assist the
law enforcement agents.
