ST. JOHN CATHOLIC, ANGELIC CHOIR CELEBRATES

AGBOR (Ika Weekly) – It was a beehive of activities last weekend when the Arch-Angelic Choir of Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church Agbor held her Annual feast.

       

The Arch-Angelic choir is one among the several choirs in Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church, Agbor, Delta State. The feast was in honour of three, Arch-Angels Micheal, Raphael and Gabriel.

        

The occasion which had its theme as “Feast of the Arch-Angelic Choir” featured installation of the new patrons and was witnessed by the assistant parish priest, Rev.Fr Jude Iloba and Sir and lady S. Osakwe, the chairman of the occasion.

 

The assistant parish priest, Rev. Fr. Jude Iloba, who is their spiritual director in his homily praised the children for their performance and encouraged them to emulate the Arch-Angels.

                            

The chairman of the occasion, Sir S. Osakwe who is a lover of children praised them for their good behaviour and promised to do everything possible to assist them to actualize their dream.

                            

The general Choir master, Mr. Isibor Moses was highly impressed to see young children singing classical songs, and pledged to assist in teaching them more classical songs for future events.

                            

Personalities present at the occasion include, Sir and Lady S. Osakwe the chairman, Hon. F.N. Aghedoh former Ika South L.G. Chairman, Matron Ndu Okonye, Mrs. J.O. Ordih, Dr. Ndinwa and Barr Mrs. MonyE.

 

The installed patrons are Pa. F. Ejaire, Mr Tony Kifordu and Mr. Kinsley Kanikwu
