Electricity equipment worth more than three million naira vandalised by thieve operating at Agbor Alidinma in Ika South Local government area have been recovered.
The stolen equipment were recovered through the security network put in place by the vigilante group of Agbor- Alidinma led by Mr. Francis Tokumbor.
Mr.Tokumbor said two of his men on evening patrol at about 9.00pm sighted five men vandalizing electricity transformer noun.ed at the entrance of Sir fortune Abie’s residence
Mr. Tokumbor pointed out that when the vandals sighted his men they jumped into a nearby bush only to regroup.
He said when passersby raise alarm the suspects escaped into the bush before men moved into action by combing the bush only to recover electricity equipment and other items. However, the police in Agbor has confirmed that the matter has been reported to their station.
