,  2010.

Mr.
Idion who spoke to Ika Weekly on the
tragedy said that “it is so sad that such a thing could happen to innocent
children. I am not going to apportion blames but I will advice government to do
everything possible to ensure that such sad occurrences never happen againt. I
am however, happy that the state governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, being a
compassionate person, that knows the value of human life, was among the first
to visit  the school, to commiserate with
the college community and affected families”.

While
praying for the repose of the souls of those who died in the unfortunate
incident and quick recovery for those in hospital, he called on the state
government to find ways of compensating affected families.Mr.
Idion opined that something was wrong with Agbor kingdom and therefore appealed
to men of God to intensify prayers for the land. “I am appealing to men of God,
whether from Agbor or not, so long as you are resident in Agbor, to please help
us in prayers. Agbor needs prayers because recent ugly happening are becoming
increasingly regular. We need the intervention of God” he pleaded.
