JOE MORMAN RECEIVES AFRICAN HERITAGE AWARD

African Heritage Incorporation, an organization based in  Accra, Ghana has concluded plans to present an award to a great musician of Ika extraction, Mr. Joe Morgan. The award  ceremony which is scheduled to hold on 27 and 29, December, 2010 will also witness the presentation of awards to 3 other Nigerians, Alhaji Akpina, from Ondo State, Prince Morocco Maduka from  Anambra State and Ebiri from  Cross River State.

According to Mr. Etu Bongo, Director of Protocols and Logistic, the presentation of the award by the cultural attaché to the Ghana Embassy in Nigeria, Mr. Kofi Attor automatically qualified Mr. Joe Morgan for the grand African Heritage Festival. “All visa and document required by your group will be handled by Mr. Kofi Attoh  who has given the authority to be in contact with you”. He added that Mr. Morgan will be at the airport with his group  to be    received by the Association, saying that  40 artists from across Africa will be in attendance for the  great festival. He further stated that all the award recipients will be coming with their group, and that accommodation will be made available for  them in a reputable hotel in Accra, Ghana.

The awardees will have the special honour of meeting the President of Ghana, Atta Mills, as he will be the one to  present the award to the recipients.
