"When power come in contact with another power, the lesser one will definitely bow." This is the case of an owl that came to attack one of the Pentecostal churches in Ika land, precisely, Home of life Bible Church, Ogbe-Ekwu, Illeje Quarter Umunede in Ika North-east local government area of Delta State.
Speaking with Ika Weekly, Elder Paul Egbnwa said that the Lord revealed previously that there will be a satanic attack on the church, which manifested in the physical while a night vigil was going on the 12th of August, 2011.
According to him, an old woman came to the scene of their night vigil at about 12:45am on that faithful day and stood in front of the church building with a walking stick, folded clothes round her body. "When she was interrogated, she confessed that while sleeping, she heard people arguing on the issue of "Ogbono" (ingredient for soup).
After the interrogation the old woman was asked to leave the church, while members of the church were urged to pray earnestly to avert the plans of the wicked.
Similarly, while the evening service was going on Wednesday 17th August 2011, an Owl flew into the church and was tracked down by worshippers who attacked and killed it.
The General Overseer of the church, Pastor Osimi. D. said that he had never experienced such a thing, stressing that he thank God for such happening, which he said is a clear indication that God’s presence is in the church.
He said that God is always with his people, no matter the test, adding that the church of Jesus Christ has been built and no gate of hell, can prevail against it.
