A
trado-medical doctor, from Idumuesah in Ika North-east Local
Government Area, Mr. Iyadi aka Bendos has said that pastors in the
vineyard of God and herbal practitioners are one as they both mention
the name of God when carrying out their duties.
In
his words “Pastors should stop criticizing traditional native
doctors (herbalists) because we are all important before God. God out
of His infinite mercy gives out different gifts to both pastors and
native doctors, all for the good of mankind.” The Idumuesah born
native doctor who said he inherited the work from his late father
when he was young told Ika Weekly that contrary to what most people
say”, he and other native doctors in Ika land do not harm people
but rather help profer solutions to their problems. Dr. Iyadi
disclosed that this medicines are very effective particularly on
those people who are not evil as he has successfully cure people with
weak erection, irregular menstruation, spiritual attack, pile, court
cases among other problems.
Speaking
further, Dr. Iyadi commended Ika political office holders for their
contributions so far in the development of Ika land, just as he
appealed them to do more. He used the opportunity to thank persons
like Dr. Uche, Madam Odozielu of Umuaja, Chief Onotor and a host of
others for their contribution to humanity
