The Dein’s Royal
Palace, Ime-Obi, Agbor is set to host the maiden edition of Agbor Development Conference with the theme:
Harnessing the strength in Unity under the distinguished chairmanship of Prof.

According to the
chairman of the organizing committee, Major General Nick Aigbogun the aim of
the conference which is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 10th
December, 2011 from 10am in the morning, is to discuss ways of moving the Agbor
kingdom forward. He said the Royal Father of the Day is His Royal Majesty
Keagborekwuzi 1, the Dein of Agbor kingdom.
Gen. Aigbogun
stated that the conference promises to be an eventful one as Agbor indigenes
and groups both at home and in the diaspora are expected to grace the occasion.
Speaking further,
Gen Agbogun said some resource persons will be around at the conference to give
lectures on topics that will help Agbor and its people to move forward, just as
he emphasized that after now, the conference will be holding annually.
