AGBOR LOCKED DOWN AS ROBBERS THREATEN TO STORM; BANKS BUSINESSES CLOSED

The busy nature that usually characterized the popular old/ Lagos Asaba road was on March 1st 2012 a reverse case, as commercial banks and other business ventures were under lock and key.
Soldiers were seen fully armed and positioned at strategic locations as well as their patrol vans moving to and fro the road to ensure security of the masses and the banks that are situated in the metropolis.
Ika weekly gathered that an unknown number called some persons in the metropolis and one of the security agencies to alert them that all the banks in the metropolis should be ready as they are coming to storm the area in full force. On hearing this, they decided to call and inform managers in the metropolis of the latest development so as to know what measure of security that will be employed.
