UMUNEDE (Ika Weekly) – The Ede Women Social Circle, Umunede, on Sunday paid a condolence visit to Mrs. Bernardina Akumabor who lost her father, late Pa James Ajabor.
The president of the association, Lady Rose .D. Nwani who spoke on behalf of the association, said that their reason for the visit was to condole their sister, Mrs. Bernardinar Akumabor. She then pleaded with the bereaved family to take things the way they are saying that God knows better. She prayed to God Almighty to accept the soul of late Pa James Ajabor and grant him eternal rest in his bosom.
Present at the condolence visit, were the Obi of Umunede, His Royal Majesty, Agadagide Ezeagwu Ezewali 1, Unity Association, Umunede (liquor dealers) led by Theodor Iwomi, United Cultural Group, Umunede, led by Mr. Ochei Nkem Frangela and the family of the bereaved, led by Pastor Ajabor Remmy Joshua who spoke on behalf of the family.
He thanked everybody who grace the occasion, especially the members of Ede Women Social Circle who has been with them all through the period of the mourning of their late father. He then advise the women to emulate their wonderful gestures and told them to always be joyful and happy in their homes. He also commended the effort of the United Cultural Group, Umunede, saying that, he was impressed with their performance and acrobatic displace.
