Comrade Osagie Launches Album

IKA WEEKLY – It was a memorable day for music lovers and the Performing Musician Association of Nigeria  (PMAN) Ika zone, when the chairman of the association, Comrade Waphy Ifeanyi, Osagie launched his new album on Sunday titled “Oku Ego Sirike” translated to mean “Money hard to get”.

                            

The chairman of the occasion, Engr. Emma Peter Osagie in his speech said he was highly elated that his son has distinguished himself and he is now celebrated in the music world.

                            

He noted that the celebrant unlike most musicians is not a push-over, but a man to be reckoned with and also a graduate of music.

                            

Engr. Osagie implored all the guests present at the event, to encourage the acclaimed musician by patronizing him through weddings, naming ceremonies, House warmings and Burials

                            

The climax of the event was the unveiling of the album by Elder Iyke Okwudi supported by prominent dignitaries including the chairman, Engr. Osagie, Otas Osas, Peter Ugbaja Unveiling the album, he prayed that God will crown the efforts of the musician with great success, even as he urged all present to support in launching the album.

                            

Comrade Osagie who goes by the stage name “Captain Waphy and the Flashers Dance Band of Africa” performed to the delight of invited guests.       

                            

Speaking with the celebrant, Comrade Waphy, said he was highly elated over the success of the event and thanked everyone present for coming to identify with him especially the chairman of Men to Men Club, Elder Iyke Okwudi and his members for their unprecedented support, praying God to grant all the guests journey mercies back home.
