On the 24th of December 2008 a kerosene tanker had an accident when it lost a wheel in Emuhu village. Although no lives were lost except for the damage on the tanker due to the accident, witnesses descended on the tanker looting its kerosene content.
According to the tanker driver of the tanker which had an inscription ?not as you think?, instead of sympathizing with the driver and the conductor, young men and women used nails and hammer to poke holes in the tanker and collecting its kerosene content. The young conductor, in the presence of mobile policemen who arrived at the scene, wept bitterly on the loss of millions of naira worth of kerosene.
