ORIMANIONYEMMA ASSOCIATION COMMENDS HON. ULEBOR, HON. IBUDE AND HON. AKPABOR; SUSPENDS MEMBER

               

The commendation was made in a meeting held on the 7th
of June 2009 at the residence of the Chairman, Supol Collins Hadomeh. Speaking
through the PRO of the association, Engr. John Owah, the association commended
the developmental activities of Ika South Council Chairman, Hon. Hilary Ibude
and also used the opportunity to call on him to quickly come to the aid of
Emuhu Community and arrest the erosion menace ravaging the area.

               

In a related development, the association described
Hon. Florence Akpabor as a worthy daughter of Emuhu Community and a vibrant
legislator. They called on her and her boss (The Council Chairman) to as a
matter of urgency consider the health needs of the people and make the council?s
health centre at Emuhu functional.

               

Meanwhile, Hon. Ulebor Isaac, the Chairman of Peoples
Democratic Party (PDP) in Ika South L.G.A have been advised by the entire
members of Orimanonyemma Association of Emuhu who have earlier passed a vote of
confidence on him as the PDP chairman in the area not to consider the
activities of detractors but to use his leadership qualities and his much
acquired political experiences to carry all the PDP faithful in the area to an
enviable height in order to deliver maximum dividends of democracy to the
people of Ika South.

               

In another development, the association has suspended
Mr. Sunday Ekwuye indefinitely from being a member of the association as a
result of his recalcitrance attitude. The association further described him as
a sycophant and therefore called on him to return all the association?s
properties in his possession. Meanwhile, a committee has been set up to look
into Mr. Ekwuye?s unruly and deviant behaviour.
