Opening events on Thursday
include Career talk with students and a quiz competition between schools in both
Ika South and Ika North East. Friday 6th November 6, 2009, is the
highpoint of the convention. Events on Friday will include a Lecture titled ?Intelectuals
in government: Blessing or curse:? by Prof. Nmorsi of Edo State University, Ekpoma. This will be later
followed by Award ceremony to person found worthy in society. Among those to
receive the awards are the Governor of Delta state, Dr. Uduaghan, Dr, Mrs. Omeni, Dr. Antonia Ashiedu, and some
excelling old students like Mr. Bath Ibegbulem, Mr. ben Obuh among others.
The chairman of the day is
Prof. Obika, the royal father of the day is HRM the Dein of Agbor and the chief
host is Mr. Larry Onyeche.
