COUNCIL CHAIRMEN AND COUNCILLOR STILL ON SEAT

d  councilors in the twenty-five local
government in Delta State by the state House of Assembly on Thursday April 28
last week was not enforced, as  council
executives are still on seat.                             Although
on cogent reason was given for the lack of enforcement on the side of the state
government, report had it that Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan was angered by the
poor delivery of the council chairmen in the just concluded governorship/state
house of assembly election directed that they should be dissolved, but later
changed the date to 13th May
