What an
incredible story to tell, but it must be told, as a woman (name withheld)
intentionally, threw boiling water on a six year old boy (son) of her next door
neighbor claiming that the child beat up her daughter.

The father of the
young victim, Mr. Clement Arinze, of 9, Alika Street, Boji Boji Owa, was still in
shock when he walked into Ika Weekly
Office to narrate what befell his little boy right in front of him.

The ugly incident
occured on Thursday, 24 November, 2011, as the said woman invited the caretaker
of the residence to tell him that her next door neighbour’s son, Chiemeri
Arinze was always beating her children. The caretaker was right there with the
little boy’s father, when she came out with water that she was boiling in her
room, and poured it on the boy in the presence of everybody boasting that there
was nothing Mr. Clement could do about it, as long as he was not financially
buoyant. And that as for the boy, that should teach him a lesson.

Little Chiemeri
was rushed to Ehuiken Hospital

All attempt to
reachthe woman who poured hot water on the boy was not successful as shewas
said to be in police custody in Boji-Boji Owa Oyibu.
