The Chairman, Land and Property Developer, Boji-Boji Owa, Chief Nduka Ikehi has cautioned all Owanta Youths who engage in illegal collection of tax and molest developers to desist from such act. Chief Ikehi made the call while addressing members of the union and Owanta youths in their recent general meeting. He maintained that every developer have the legal right to build or invest in the land which he/she has bought, on the ground that the piece of land has undergone due registration with the community and the Obi. He noted that any youth found making illegal collection or constituting hindrance to developers is doing so at his own risk, charging Owanta community to constitute a proper land office that will duly be represented by each quarters as that will help put a stop to youth molestation on developers. Chief Ikehi urged developers to make proper use of their land to better Owa land but condemned the attitude of those who build across the major roads. Chief Ikehi while thanking the Obi of Owa kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Emmanuel Efeizomor 11 for setting-up a committee to watch-over government acquired properties called on the government to make better use of these properties to be useful for the people of the area. The chairman, Land and Property Developer also appealed to the government to ensure that the completion of the dualization and tarring of Owanta-Aliosimi road, noting that the community has constituted a body to ensure its success.
