UMUNEDE (Ika Weekly) – The Obi of Umunede, His Royal Majesty, Agadagidi Ezeagwu Ezewali 1, has admonished members of the caretaker committee in Ika North East Local Government Area to work in line with the Uduaghan’s administration to achieve its three point agenda.
Obi Ezewali 1 gave the charge in his palace during the week in a chat with journalists. He said there was the need for them to identify areas of needs of the Local Government Area so as to address them.
He noted that the reason for their appointment was to improve the socio-economic environment of the grassroots.
He thanked the governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan for the wisdom applied in appointing members of the committee; saying he had confidence in the ability of those elected for Ika North East Local Government Area.
Obi Ezewali 1 also charged women to show more intrest in politics, as it would afford them the opportunity to make their input in the development of their community.
