ZENITH BANK DONATES ICT CENTRE TO COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, AGBOR

Formally accepting the ICT
Centre from the Management of Zenith Bank PLC, the Provost of the College, Dr.
Emmanuel Tibi thanked donor for establishing such a centre in the College, saying
that it will go a long way in enhancing the flow of information within and
outside the school, and that both staff, students of the school, and the
general public, who will avail themselves of the opportunity of using the
facilities, will find it very helpful for their project, research and general
information purposes.

The browsing hall which
accommodates seventy high speed computer systems have also been connected to an
ultra modern V-Sat Satellite Dish. Each browsing table has been so partitioned
that the privacy of every user is fully guaranteed.

According to Nkechi, head
of the Centre management some of the services that will be enjoyed by customers
include: Internet Browsing, Internet Home Services and many more. The centre is
also set to train individuals and organizations in the areas of Application
Packages, Web Desgin, Hosting, Domain Registration, Programming ? Java,
Microsoft, Net Services VB Net and ASP Net. Miss ????????.. told Ika Weekly
that the most efficient customer services will be delivered at the centre, and
that currently, the sum of one thousand naira only (N1, 000.00) is being
charged for both registration and identity card that will enable intending
users gain access to the facilities. Registration forms can be obtained at the
centre.
