The final match of the maiden edition of Chuky Dandy Football Tournament comes up on Sunday, May 21,2017,at the Agbor Township Stadium, at 12noon.The battle for a cup and #1million prize for the winners will be between Udomi Community, Abavo and Ohunmere Community,Ime-Obi, Agbor. According to the Chairman, Local Organizing Committee,Mr Rex Ben Ebede,there are also cash prizes for the second and third place winners,including individual prizes for outstanding players,coach and team.He disclosed that players that will be selected at the end of the tournament will make up, “Chuky Dandy Football Club”, which he said has been registered to feature in next year’s Nigerian Football League.
The Chuky Dandy Football Tournament, is sponsored by the member,representing Ika South Constituency, in Delta State House of Assembly,Hon Festus Chukwuyem Okoh, popularly referred to by his people, friends and supporters as,Chuky Dandy.This maiden edition featured only accredited players from the various registered communities in Ika South.
