EMUHUN JUNCTION TRAGEDY: MOTHER AND TWO CHILDREN CRUSHED TO DEATH

 It was a tragic incident on 4th of April, 2012 along the Benin/Onitsha Express way in Emuhu, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, as 35 years old woman, Mrs. Jethro Nwaokolo and her children were crushed to death by a car.
The ugly incident which happened between the hours of 7-8pm in the night was quickly relayed to the community by the daughter of the deceased who luckily escaped unhurt in the accident. According to her, the said the ill-fate car hit them when it was trying to make a turn on the road.

Ika weekly learnt that it was not long ago that the Nwaokolo family lost another close relation but not by accident.

It was also gathered that the deceased and two of her children, a boy and girl, were gruesomely crushed to death by the hit and run while the one who escaped by the wiskers sustained severe injuries. The remains have since been buried while the car that crushed them to death is no where to be found.

The deceased family said they have left everything in the hands of God Almighty as only him (God) sees what happened in light and darkness. They prayed God to grant late Mrs. Nwaokolo and her dead children peaceful rest in his bosom
