SUSPECTED ARMED ROBBERS MEET THEIR WATER LOO

On Monday 9th March,2012, while the world was celebrating the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, some men of the under world went about robbing and dispossessing people of their belonging. Nemesis however caught up with two suspected armed robbers who met their waterloo as they came in contact with the military men drafted to maintain peace and order in Ika land.

According the Army commander in Ika land captain Agbo, "we have been receiving distress calls from many people complaining of a group of suspected armed robbers who have been terrorizing the area. Immediately we were alerted, we started maintaining proper surveillance of the area and today two out of the three were was gunned down by my men while robbing a bar in Ogorchukwu street. I want to use this medium to advise youths to get involved in good ventures as robbing and stealing will not pay. It can only lead one to an untimely death, he said

He stated that many persons have identified the suspected armed robbers as the ones who had robbered them at one time or the other.

Ika Weekly gathered that the two slained robbers were both sons of Ika nation, one Friday from Agbor-Obi, while John hailed from Emuhu both from Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State.
