IGBODO YOUTH FORUM HOLDS INAUGURATION, FUND RAISING CEREMONY

 The
Igbodo Youth Forum (IYF) has on Friday, 29th March, 2013 held its
inauguration/fund raising ceremony at Okwuadis compound located at palace Road
Igbodo in Ika North East local Government Area of Delta State.

            Speaking during the inauguration,
Chief Pastor P.C. Ozili, president General- Igbodo, Development Union,
worldwide who was appointed by the chairman of the occasion Chief Fred Obuseh,
to preside the inauguration ceremony disclosed that Igbodo is a peaceful
community that is made up of eminent and industrious personalities. He charged
the youths to always co-operate with the community so as to enable the aims of
organizing the meeting which he said, is to enable the community to empower the
youths with job  opportunities.

            Addressing the youths, Chief Obuseh,
the  urged well to do personalities in
the community to support the youths financially so that their plans to develop
Igbodo community will be achieved. He reminded the people to know that no
association can function without financial support, therefore calling on
well-to do Igbodo sons and daughters to assist the youths productively and
encourage them to remain hardworking in everything that is pertaining to
themselves and Igbodo community.

            Chatting with newsmen shortly after
the event, Comrade Victor Onyeisi, the president of Igbodo Youth Forum, thanked
all those who came to grace the occasion and prayed God to protect them as they
return back to their various homes. Also speaking Engineer Johnson Ogana,
stated that he was happy with the out come of the meeting with and prayed God
to strengthen them so that they can achieve all their set goals and be good
ambassadors of Igbodo community 

            The event attracted the presence of
the following dignitaries, Chief Fred Obuseh, Pastor Donald Ibe, Mr. Godwin
Kokoh ,Chief (Pastor) P.C Ozili, Mr. Okorie Alimele, Mr. Godwin Chika, Mr.
Steve Ekiri- Mekiriuwa Ashien, Dr. Ndu Okolye, Mr. Iroba Chinekwe, Rev. Francis
Akuwmabor, Hon. Andrew Azikiwe, members of the Rural Empowerment and Advocacy
project (R. E. A. P), Mr. Ikemchor festus, Mrs. Easther Osunde, Venerable
Justin and Mrs. Jane Olunna and other members of the community.

            High points of the event were the
inauguration, fund raising and taking of photographs. Guests were well treated
to refreshment
