BOARD OF GOVERNOR, IKA GRAMMAR SCHOOL HOLDS STAKEHOLDERS MEETING

 

The Board
of Governors, Ika Grammar School, on Tuesday 23th of April, 2013, held their
stakeholders meeting at the school premises in Ika North East Local Government
Area. The meeting was to discuss the way forward for the development of the
school.

                While addressing them, Rt. Rev.
Dr. P. I. Onekpe, Bishop of Ika Diocese admonished members and all present to
give their lives to Christ and remain faithful to Him. He thanked the school
principal, Ven. Omo Olubor for his efforts towards the development of the
school.

                In an address presented by the
chairman of the board, Prof. Sam Ukala, he stated that the board has mapped out
plans to solved the pressing problems of the school, such as re-building of
some classroom a 30 double decker beds dormitory, a dining room, a kitchen,
provision of computer studio, Renovation of the school library and other
projects.

Speaking to
newsmen shortly after the meeting, Ven. Olubor, appreciated the school
governing board, the staff and all those who contributed immensely to the
development of the school. He prayed God to bless them.

The enlarge
meeting was attended by the members of Board of Governors, Ika Grammar School,
Boji-Boji Owa and others. They include Rt. Revd P. I Onekpe (JP), Bishop, Ika
Diocese, Justice S.A. Ehiwario, Chancellor of the board, Sir M. C Unuwovo,
Registrar, Steve Askawih, Treasurer, Prof Sam Ukala, chairman Board of
Governors, Ven. Charles Omo Okambar, Secretary to the Board, Sir. Chief A. O. U
Okowa, member of the Board, Ven Palmar Melekwe, Evang. Mrs. N. J. Bamah,
Diocesan PRO and others. 

High
point of the meeting was the inspection of the on-going project in the school
