FIRE RENDERS FAMILY OF FIVE HOMELESS

It was a
pathetic moment for the family of  Victor
Onwuechie of Idumuesah, in Ika North East Local Government Area, Delta State,
as their residential building at Egbor Quarters, was razed down by fire on
Wednesday, 15th May, 2013  at about
9:00am.

                Narrating the sad incident to
Ika Weekly, Mr. Onwuechie said that he and his children had gone out that
fateful day when he received a distress call at about 9:00am from his elder
brother that his house was on fire. He stated that immediately he got the news
he rushed home only to meet people, including elders of the community making
efforts to put off the fire. He thanked God that no life was lost..

                He called on well-meaning
Nigerians to come to his aid, as the fire outbreak has rendered himself and his
family  homeless, and property worth
millions of naira was lost to the tragedy.
