OGBUIGWE FAMILY DEDICATES BABY BOY TO GOD

BOJI BOJI OWA (Ika Weekly) – It was a moment of joy when Mr. & Mrs. George Ogbuigwe witnessed the dedication of their newborn baby boy on Sunday at Door of Faith Mission, along Alika by Okobi Street, Boji-Boji, Owa, after 6 years of childlessness.

Rev. Mrs. Kate Asiwe, who performed the dedication ceremony, said in her sermon that, most people when they are in trouble will not want to say it out, or may even complain to wrong people.

Rev. Mrs. Asiwe who is also the wife of the General Overseer of the church, said that for six years, the family of Mrs. & Mrs. Ogbuigwe, were busy blaming each other for their predicament, but that God has now answered their prayers with a “baby boy”.

From her sermon taken from 1st Peter 5:7; “casting all your cares upon Him for he cares for you”, Rev. Mrs. Asiwe said Christians should always put their trust in God and not in men.

As they dedicated the child christened Samuel Ewere, to God, the parents were advised to bring up the child in the fear of God.

Responding, Mr. & Mrs. Ogbuigwe appreciated the General Overseer of the church, Apostle, Rev. Asiwe, for his spiritual support and thanked God for the gift of the newborn baby.

They also advised those who are seeking for the fruit of the womb to come to God, adding that with God all things are possible.
