Two
unidentified children, a boy and a girl were recently wandering along Iwezue
Lane, Boji-Boji, Owa in Ika North East local government area of Delta State.
The report was brought to Owa-Oyibu Police station by one Ifeyinwa Evelyn of N0
112 Iwezue Lane.
Speaking
with Ika Weekly correspondent, the Divisional Police Officer DSP Ignatius Nnaji
described the act as gross wickedness and inhuman by the mother of the children
who abandoned them. According to him, “I wondered what will make parents to
decide to abandon their three and two years old children along the street, such
act shows no parental love for those children”
At the time
kids babies have been taken to Our Saviour Orphanage, Umunede.
